Double Diamond Checkered, beveled bottom
Dymondwood Laminate grips in DESERT STRIPEWOOD color, laminated using phenolic resins, heat and pressure to create a dense and strong material.
These grips are cut with a sharp double diamond checkering at 20 lines per inch. The grips are shaped in the traditional 1911 style with the top of the left side panel slightly covering the plunger tube and the bottoms of the grip panel beveled. These grips leave the mainspring housing pin exposed.
These grips are built with a typical 1911 thickness that fully fits the hand without being overly thick. Grip thickness runs between .255" and .265" thick at the center of the grip.
Grips are available with or without an ambidextrous safety cut. If you're unsure whether you need an ambi cut, click the link on the left side of the page to learn more about the ambi cut.
These are production grips so the grips you get will not be the individual pair shown in the photo. Our photos represent the type and general character of the material, but due to variances in the material used to manufacture the grips, the colors and lay up of the colored layers within the grips my vary giving a different visual appearance of the grips.
